Organizations We Support

Our homes. Our communities. They’re more than just property. At 121 Realty, we give a portion of every listing transaction back to organizations that share a vision to impact and make a difference in the communities they serve. This approach converts transactions into investments in what really matters – our customers, our communities, and our future. Here is a list of organizations that we currently or have supported in the past:

Dream Makers

Dream Makers reaches our older teenagers who are aging out of the foster care system. Our goal is to inspire and empower these teens by giving them an opportunity to dream about their future. These dreams may be an internship that connects them with an opportunity for the future, a practical gift to launch them towards their next step, a gift to learn a new skill or an experience to gain confidence. In any case, it’s their dream, and we want to inspire these kids to dream big!

i Love You Guys Foundation

At the inception of The “I Love U Guys” Foundation, the focus was on the arena of school safety. The question was simple, “Can we really help?” We attended symposiums, conferences and events about school safety and did tons of research. The Foundation hosted roundtables of its own, and also contracted an Emergency Management Practitioner to jumpstart the learning curve and make introductions. (Perhaps the best research investment we have ever made.)

Roever Foundation

My work with the military is not born out of schools of higher education, nor reading books of other people’s experience, but out of the tragedy of my own experiences. Having been injured in Vietnam, while serving with the US Navy’s Brown Water Black Beret as a forward gunner, I was burned by a phosphorous grenade. Nearly half my skin was blown off leaving my face disfigured and my body mutilated.

After 9/11/01, I was called by military installations across America to share my experience, to give a message of hope and survival to young men and women, who would immediately launch into the war on terror. Having done many tours into Iraq and Afghanistan, serving the Department of Defense through Central Command, I have worked under the commanding generals throughout Iraq, including General Raymond Odierno, Lt. General Randy Mixon, Lt. General Lynch and many others. Having the opportunity to assist our young men and women, who are putting their lives on the line for our freedom, is one of the highest callings in my life.

Sister Carmen Food Bank

We are a 501c3 nonprofit organization with no religious affiliation. As a Family Resource Center, we are East Boulder County’s only comprehensive source of individual and family services. We have been serving our community for over 30 years. We utilize a strengths-based approach in working with participants, recognizing that everyone has a collection of strengths upon which to build. Many programs will refer to helping their participants reach Self Sufficiency. While we use that term, we also recognize that no individual or family is an island. People need people. We want to provide families the resources that can support their efforts towards achieving economic stability and building natural community supports. Strengthening families and community…that is what we are about.
